Kitchen renovation FAQs
Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?
If your cabinet boxes are in good shape and you're happy with the layout, refacing or recoating gets you a fresh look for a lot less. If they're failing or you want a new layout, replacing makes more sense. We'll look at yours and tell you straight which is the better spend.
Can I use my kitchen while it's being renovated?
Partly. There's a stretch where the kitchen is out of commission, but we sequence the work to keep that window as short as we can. A lot of clients set up a small temporary kitchenette to get through it.
Do you handle countertops and appliances?
We template and install countertops and build their lead time into the schedule. For appliances, most clients purchase them and we handle the install and integration. Confirm with Mike whether he prefers to source appliances himself.
What if something unexpected comes up during demo?
If we open a wall and find outdated wiring, plumbing, or water damage, we show you, explain it, and price it transparently before moving ahead. You're never blindsided by the invoice.
Can you keep the design in line with the rest of my home?
Yes. We have a good eye for design and help you choose finishes that feel like a natural fit for your home, not a room that was obviously redone by someone else.
